BHCosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette

This is my first BHCosmetics product and after seeing the quality of these Eyeshadows I want more. This 18 colour Baked Eyeshadow palette which is based on the planets and space itself. They have been made to look as close to the planets and the solar system as possible. BHCosmetics is very reasonably priced. The packaging is very sturdy and plus looks very cute.

Pigmentation of these Eyeshadows are great.

Palette is sturdy.

Good size mirror.

Cons

There isn’t a good shade to use as a Brow highlight.

No matte transition colour but I can live with that.

Mirror doesn’t stay up.

Makeup Geek (MUG)

OMG. What can I say about Makeup Geeks eyeshadows only that they're amazing. The texture and pigmentation is great. They come in over 60 colours. Also in matte, shimmery, and sparkly textures. All Makeup Geeks shadows are cruelty-free they do not test on animals and these eyeshadows are also Talc and Paraben-Free. The colours are very blendable and go on so nicely, layering is really easy with these eyeshadows. The Makeup Geek eyeshadow pans are already magnetised and you can buy Z Palettes from Makeup Geek site to house the shadow pans. They have a variety of Palettes on their site and also one that has been designed specially for their company. Makeup Geek products are comparable to MAC shadows maybe even better and are less than half the price. The only compliant I have about Makeup Geek is the shipping charges. I had been giving a total for my order and then I look in my bank account and I had been charge a extra $20.00 for shipping to Australia and a extra $6.00 for International Transaction Fee. Definitely would purchase again even though they charge extra for shipping.

Nivea Lip Butters

OMG I love these. They are so creamy and moisturizing and they smell amazing too. They come in 4 different scents Caramel Cream, Vanilla & Macadamia, Raspberry Rose and Original. I have only got two of the set, Caramel Cream and the Vanilla & Macadamia and they are both amazing. The packaging could be better but I'm not complaining. You get 19ml in each tin. Great to wear alone or to wear under lipstick to sheer it out and make it feel more moisturizing.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Maybelline Colour Tattoo 24hr Eyeshadow

I love, love, love, these Maybelline Colour Tattoos. They are a great base/primer for underneath your eye shadows to create beautiful looks or if you wish to wear alone. They are nicely pigmented and smooth to apply but some can be a little patchy. They  last all day, it is amazing. No creasing. They have 9 original shades and they also have a metal collection at the moment. I don't know if they are limited edition or not.

Painting your Nails like a Pro

When I first started painting my nails was so bad, I would get nail polish all over my fingers and cleaning it up would take even longer than painting my nails. As I am a right handed I find it hard to paint my left hand, so I suggest that you try resting your hand and go slow so you can control the line and keep it looking clean.   

 So here’s a cheat sheet I found to help you paint your nails like a pro. 

 

 

 

DIY Berry and Yogurt Face Mask

What you will need:
Plain Yogurt
Berries (of your choice)
Honey
Lemon Juice

Step 1: In a blender, combine 2 tablespoons honey and 2 tablespoons plain yogurt, and pulse until fully combined.

Step 2: Add 1/4 cup berries, pureeing until smooth, then add 1 tablespoon lemon juice.

 

DIY Dry Lavender Face Scrub

What you will need:

 1 cup ground oats

 1/2 cup dry lavenderflowers, stripped off stalks

 1/2 cup powdered milk

 2 teaspoon cornmeal

 

Step 1: Grind the oats thenplace in a bowl along with, the lavender Buds then add the cornmeal and powderedmilk.
 

Step 2: Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl, massage into dampskin, and rinse with warm water.

I recently purchased Sweet Lips, scrub from Lush after hearing such great thing about their  lip scrubs.

 Their scrubs come in three different flavours Bubblegum which smell like bubblegum of course; Mint Julep with  a scent of mint chocolate chips and Sweet Lips smells like chocolate and vanilla.

 The vanilla extract keeps your lips moist, castor sugar gently exfoliates, and the rich, deep fragrance of cocoa absolute gives this an irresistible touch.

 And the best thing about these lips scrubs is you can lick it of after you have exfoliated your lip. They taste just like sugar. Yum Yum.

How to use:  Scrub and buff your lip to luxurious softness, lick off the excess then apply your favourite lip balm.

Quick and Easy way to remove Glitter Nail Polish (less painful)

What You Need:                                               

Makeup pad or tissues

Nail polish remover

Alfoil

 

 

Step One: Cut out 10 large foil square.

Step Two: Soak the makeup pads or tissues in the nail polish remover then place on each nail

Step Three:  Wrap the foil squares around your fingers and leave on for 10 minutes.

Step Four: Remove the foil from your fingers then grab a spare makeup pad or tissue with some nail polish remove on it then clean each finger for any excess.

 

 

 

Tips & Tricks to getting the best Lashes

What Mascara colour is right for you?

 Black mascara looks great on everyone and every makeup look. Choose brown mascara if you're a light blonde or redhead and want a more natural look.

Tips to getting the best looking Lashes:

Tip 1: Always move the wand in a swift, zigzag fashion from lash roots to tips as opposed to one sweeping motion.

Tip 2: If you are using a mascara primer, make sure to wait 10-30 seconds for it to dry, then apply your mascara as this will keep it from looking "diluted" or grey as opposed to black

Tip 3: When applying multiple coats of mascara, avoid putting several coats on one eye at a time. Instead, switch from one eye to the next before applying a second coat in order to let your lashes dry between coats.

 

Palmer's Coco Butter Cleansing Gel & Face Lotion

I had recently been given samples of Palmer’s Coco Butter Formula Daily Cleansing Gel and the daily Facial Lotion. I have a fairly oily T zone so I tried them out for the first time the other day and OMG it is amazing. It made my skin so clean and all the oil was gone. The Daily Cleansing Gel is Fragrance Free and is suitable for sensitive skin. The gel has Aloe Vera and Vitamin E in the formula. I put the face lotion on and was expecting that it would be oily like most face creams are but this one is so lightweight and not oily at all. I purchased TRESmemmé heat tamer protective spray after hearing such great things about it from Missglamorazzi in one of her tutorial videos. This spray is specially formulated to work with heat appliances to create fabulous hair styles. It leaves your hair feeling soft, silky and you can't beat the price. Very lightweight, dries quickly and smells amazing too. Toni and Guy's Dry Shampoo ( Cleanse )

I recently purchased Toni and Guy’s dry shampoo from their Cleanse range and it is amazing. I have tried other dry shampoos and none of them have been as good as this product. I love the scent, it is not too strong that it gives you a head ache when spraying it and not too weak that you cannot smell the scent. I will definitely be repurchasing this product.

I was lucky enough to grab two bottles of this product for $20 at Woolworths supermarket today.
